SeaWorld Orlando – Project 2025 – New Attraction
SeaWorld Orlando Project 2025 – Wild Arctic
Although things have temporarily cooled down regarding what was believed to be Project 2025 at SeaWorld Orlando’s Wild Arctic building, X user @Jakecoasters discovered that United Parks and Resorts filed for a unique trademark on September 7, 2024. This trademark, “NORTHERN FLIGHTS: A WILD ARCTIC ADVENTURE,” was registered for “Amusement park and theme park services; Entertainment in the nature of an amusement park ride; Entertainment services in the nature of an amusement park attraction, namely, a themed area.”
While there is no official confirmation of the attraction yet, this does sound like it could be a new simulator-type experience, possibly a Flying Theater. Given that the dimensions of the show building will remain unchanged, we speculate it could be a Mack AIRIFIC. This model, though not super common, is featured at Legoland Florida for it’s Lego Movie Ride, where it rotates from the loading area to increase capacity and allow more time for loading and unloading.
last month, SeaWorld filed permits for the installation of an electrical system for a new ride at the “Mission Bermuda Triangle” building, which was the original attraction name before the addition of the Arctic animal exhibit behind it.
This type of attraction would significantly enhance the park’s offerings for families, as it would appeal to a broader audience. Its proximity to Sesame Street Land would also make it a great addition to that area of the park.
