Jack and Dr. Oddfellow is back

From single-night tickets to returning fan-favorite add-ons like Express Passes and RIP Tours, here’s everything we know so far.

Premium Scream Night Returns (And Expands)

After debuting two years ago and quickly becoming a fan-favorite in 2025, Premium Scream Night is expanding in 2026.

This year, the event will take place on:

  • August 27 (Opening Night)
  • October 19 (Encore Night)

Priced at $400, this limited-capacity experience includes:

  • Unlimited non-alcoholic beverages
  • Unlimited food from select locations
  • Significantly reduced wait times thanks to capped attendance

This remains one of the best ways to experience Halloween Horror Nights with minimal crowds.

Early Access Changes in 2026

Early Access (formerly “Stay and Scream”) appears to be getting a noticeable update this year.

In previous years, guests could enter the park as early as 2 PM, enjoy daytime operations, and then queue for haunted houses before the event officially began. However, 2026 wording suggests a shift:

  • Select haunted houses or queues may open as early as 2 PM
  • This could help distribute crowds earlier and improve overall flow
  • Soundstage and tent houses may begin operations sooner

Pricing is expected to range from $70–$75, and—based on past trends—this may be included for annual passholders.

Express Pass Prices Increase

Express Passes are back—but at a higher cost.

  • Starting price: $170
  • Peak pricing: Up to $290

This marks a noticeable increase from previous years and will likely impact the cost of Frequent Fear Pass add-ons, which have yet to be announced.

For many guests, Express remains the best way to maximize house counts in a single night.

RIP Tour Details

The RIP Tour returns as the ultimate VIP experience for Halloween Horror Nights fans.

  • Pricing ranges from $400 to $480
  • Includes:
    • Priority access to haunted houses
    • A buffet-style meal
    • Select character interactions

Both private and non-private tour options are expected, continuing to cater to guests looking for a guided, front-of-the-line experience.

Unmasking the Horror Tours

For fans who want to experience haunted houses with the lights on, Unmasking the Horror tours are returning in two formats:

3-House Tour

  • Begins August 21
  • Price: $100–$120

6-House Tour

  • Begins August 29
  • Price: $200–$260
  • Includes a buffet meal

With Halloween Horror Nights expected to feature 10 haunted houses, not every house will be included across these tours.

These behind-the-scenes experiences are perfect for appreciating the design, detail, and storytelling of the event without the scares.

Final Thoughts

With rising prices and expanded offerings, Halloween Horror Nights 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious—and expensive—years yet.

From the return of Premium Scream Night to changes in Early Access and higher Express Pass pricing, fans will have more ways than ever to customize their scare-filled nights.
