Universal also confirmed that Thunder Falls Terrace will permanently close to make way for a brand-new signature dining experience. The fan-favorite Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-Up Show will also be closing temporarily for a re-imagining beginning May 12. Universal stated that the updated version of the show will retain its core focus on demonstrating practical movie-making effects and techniques, while hopefully preserving the humor and audience interaction that have made the show a longtime guest favorite. The show will debut later this year in winter of 2026.
