SeaWorld Teases New Details for Howl-O-Scream Orlando 2026
SeaWorld Orlando has been teasing fans for weeks with promotional emails for this year’s Howl-O-Scream, but a recent email quietly revealed several new details about what guests can expect this fall — even as the park continues to keep much of the lineup under wraps. The event is scheduled to take place on select nights beginning September 18 and running through Halloween night. While nothing has officially been confirmed regarding the return of event icon Havoc, his popular stage show, or the fan-favorite Monster Stomp, the latest information gives fans their clearest look yet at what’s shaping up for the 2026 edition of the event.
According to the email, guests can expect five haunted houses this year, with four featuring entirely new storylines. At this time, SeaWorld has not revealed which haunted house from last year will be returning. The event will also feature six scare zones, two of which are expected to return from previous years. One likely candidate is Trailer Park Tragedy, which became a standout favorite among guests and even earned “Best Scare Zone” recognition last season.
In addition to the scare zones, the event will once again include two roaming hordes, one of which is expected to feature the returning slider performers that have become a staple of the event’s atmosphere and entertainment lineup.
SeaWorld is also promising five all-new themed bars for this year’s event, signaling a complete refresh of the specialty drink and lounge experiences throughout the park. This could bring an entirely new visual style and menu lineup to Howl-O-Scream for returning guests.
Thrill rides in the dark will once again be part of the experience, with four attractions operating during the event. Last year’s lineup included Ice Breaker, Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, Mako, and occasional rides on Infinity Falls, though this year’s official attraction list has not yet been announced.
SeaWorld also teased “never-before-seen surprises” that will be revealed closer to the start of the event, suggesting there may still be major announcements on the horizon. With original haunted houses, refreshed entertainment offerings, and new themed experiences already confirmed, this year’s Howl-O-Scream is shaping up to be one of the event’s most ambitious seasons yet. Fans should expect additional reveals, including house themes, entertainment details, and possible returning icons, as the Halloween season draws closer.
