According to Theme Park Obsession, team members at Thunder Falls Terrace have confirmed the popular quick-service restaurant will close after today (July 19) for a major conversion.
The location is being transformed into a signature sit-down dining establishment that will eventually replace Mythos when the beloved restaurant closes later this year as previously reported.
We’ll miss the fantastic BBQ, rotisserie chicken, and immersive prehistoric atmosphere at this casual favorite, but we’re excited to see what Universal Creative has in store with the upgrades!

Also closing: The Hot Dog Hall of Fame in Universal CityWalk Orlando. Universal announced that Saturday, July 18 was its final day of operation. Construction barriers were already spotted beside the restaurant ahead of the full wall installation for its conversion into “Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice” by Joey Fatone.
