SeaWorld Orlando invited us out on August 20 for the Scream and Sweat media preview of Howl-O-Scream 2026. The separately ticketed event runs select nights from September 11 through October 31, 2026.

Howl-O-Scream 2026 Food Menu First Look
At the preview we sampled Havoc’s Hot Dogs and the Saturday Morning Cartoons mocktail as well as the Maggot Mule.
At the preview we also saw a full display of the new Howl-O-Scream food menu. Standouts included the Eggo Massacre (chicken and waffles), pizza rolls, Cricket Tres Leches, the Tripleta sandwich, the Intestine cinnamon roll, veggie dumplings, Birria Ramen, and more twisted seasonal bites.
Howl-O-Scream 2026 Merchandise and Shoulder Pals
Howl-O-Scream 2026 merchandise is also expansive this year, with shirts, pins, tumblers, and exclusive shoulder pals featuring a skeleton bat and an ocelot in a pumpkin.
Inside the Scream and Sweat Presentation
After that, we were invited into the Nautilus Theater for the main presentation. Our hosts staged a classic ’90s-style infomercial for a new fitness regimen called “Scream and Sweat.” We were introduced to performers from the haunted houses and scare zones before learning the moves ourselves.
Jack the Ripper, the Fisherman, and Pestilence
Jack the Ripper taught a slashing technique, the Fisherman from I Know What You Did Last Summer demonstrated his own signature slash, and Havoc’s ex-girlfriend Pestilence showed off her whipping technique. Finally, the entire audience was encouraged to perform the moves together.
After the presentation, influencers and media were brought onstage for interviews with SeaWorld PR and the characters themselves. Watch for that video soon.
Overall, we had a blast at SeaWorld Orlando’s Scream and Sweat preview and want to thank the park for inviting Florida Thrills out for an early look at Howl-O-Scream 2026. From the new food and drinks to the expanded merchandise and the first look at Pestilence, this year’s event already feels bigger and more theatrical than ever. Howl-O-Scream 2026 runs select nights from September 11 through October 31, and we cannot wait to head back into the fog, walk the scare zones, and experience the houses, bars, and nighttime rides once the screams officially start this fall.
